Dorian Color has been helping our commercial clients convey messages for nearly 40 years. Through the addition of our galleries and the archives and photographers we represent, we are delighted to offer our corporate clients the value added from our expertise in fine photo imaging, printing, finishing and exhibition services.

We assist clients in choosing from a wide array of images that have been carefully chosen and represent a large and expanding network of talented and specialized photographic artists from a variety of backgrounds, styles, and capture media. The portfolios represented in our galleries celebrate the creative vision and passion of each photographer. Just as every business organization has a point of view, so too does every photographer. Their point of view comes through in their body of work.

Customizable

The responses to photographic images are as varied as the photographers who capture and create them. Moreover, different prints of the same image can evoke completely different responses. A 16 x 20 inch print works completely differently from a 30 x 40 inch print. A glossy print works completely differently from a matte, satin or pearl finish print. A traditional photographic print offers a completely different look from an archival pigment ink print. Framing, mounting, lamination, glass, and backlit transparencies offer additional choices and communicate differently.

Affordable

An additional benefit of photographic art is that it is usually more cost effective than other art media in addition to being fully customizable to meet the specific site and requirements.

Compelling

Compelling pictures have emotional clout. Their content can overwhelm us. We all have seen images that have clung to our psyches and refuse to let us go. They can be of human atrocity – Eddie Adams’ Vietnam execution photograph; a revealing portrait of a historic personality – ‘Winston Churchill 30 December 1941” by Yousef Karsh; celebratory and iconic – Alfred Eisenstaedt’s “The Kiss”; the simple beauty of a landscape – Moonrise by Ansel Adams or any number of thousands of images by well known and unknown photographers.
